(Eng.) <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Data on Deck \u2013 Why Sharing Data Helps the Fishing Industry Move Forward<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Data collection is already in full swing on board. But how do you ensure that this data actually benefits fishermen and the industry? In this presentation, we\u2019ll show how we\u2019re working toward a data-driven demersal fishery: from utilizing data on the vessel to securely sharing it with other parties.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019ll discuss what we\u2019ve learned in recent years, which practical applications show promise, and how the new \u201cData on Deck\u201d project is taking this step toward practical implementation. Business owners are constantly adapting to changing circumstances. A long-term perspective is key in this regard. Setting a course is not always easy. The companies that survive are more flexible and use sustainable techniques.
